Case Studies

  • Theme Restaurant, Spice Caves, Lucknow

This time, the maestros of thematic interiors, Futomic Design Services have chosen Lucknow to exhibit their chef-d'oeuvre. Their recently designed restaurant, Spice Caves in the town of the Nawabs, is a thought provoking endeavor to blend a world of luxury with a tribal realm.

Based on a Cave theme, the restaurant showcases impeccably dramatic 3D murals and faces along with almost alive half statues of tribal folks. The huge 3D face of a furious tribal oozing out fire on one of the walls is an art to look at. To add more spice to the adventure part, huge murals of tribal faces have been hung on walls.

Intricate Jali Work, a typical specialty of FDS has been used in various places, from the ceiling to the partitions between seats. The main essence has been infused into the interiors by using lots of rock cladding and artificial greenery on walls. While bamboo furniture has been chosen to sync with the theme, heavy carving on doors reflect the concept veritably.

The machan area is truly mesmerizing, starting from giant water curtains (another domain of Futomic), which separates it from the rest of the restaurant, to the deployment of original bamboos with a pair of artificial trees that appear as the holder of the ceiling.

Partitions between the seats with themed jali work, rock and artificial creepers is a well though idea to provide comfort and privacy to the guests. The juxtaposition of life-sized statues throughout the restaurant infuses a touch of warmth, culture and adventure.

Coming to the kids’ area, be prepared to catch the expression of delight on your little one’s face as he or she lands on a terra firma based on Mogli Theme. The giant aquarium that separates the children’s zone from the restaurant is an object that stimulates comments. The bright 3D paints all around, add to the joy of the children.

So next time when you plan a visit to Bhul Bhulaiya or Bara Imambarah, don’t forget to visit this piece of art by Futomic Design Services in the heart of Lucknow. The Delhi/NCR based company justifies why it is considered as one of the top luxury interior designers in India.
