Jungle Gourmet, Jalandhar

A Restaurant Designed with Quadruple Theme Tarka

Determined to spread the aura of theme restaurant across different geographies, the team of Futomic Design Services entered Jalandhar this time. Based on a frolicking forest theme, Jungle Gourmet is a real treat for the people living in this part of Punjab.

The triple floored restaurant encompasses all the cavorting elements keeping in mind the fun loving nature of the people of Jalandhar. The first thing to ‘BalleBalle’ is the lush green facade of the restaurant with a pair of beautifully carved murals of angels welcoming their guests at the entrance. The 3D mural of a guerilla waiting at the top along with the fine sculptor of a dolphin framed with a rocky background starts giving a hint of something interesting inside!

The basement of Jungle Gourmet: Feast in the Wild, can be rightly addressed as a zoo themed restaurant. The cavy ambiance daringly showcases the almost alive murals of wild animals namely, giraffe, zebra, rhino, elephant and the ‘bubbarsher’, ready to leap on you! Futomic has highlighted the concept of family dining by grouping animals of the same family at one place. On one side, there stands a troupe of elephant murals, while the other wall opens up a window for the zebra family. The sculptors of wolves sitting on the adjoining wall and the giant tree in the middle suggests that there is a lot to explore in the jungle area. To give it a complete feel of feast in the woods, furniture with animal printed fabrics have been designed to match with the jungle theme. Also, a bonus to the basement area is the Kids Zone specially designed to cater to the adrenaline instincts of the super-cute demons!

The ground floor of the multi-cuisine restaurant is based on the Ajanta Ellora theme highlighting ruin affect on the walls. The artificial rock cladded cave looks no less than a museum of artistically done murals of ancient people and their entire civilization. The lush green façade complimented with verdant and cane seating arrangement is surrounded with bricked looks and moss affect. The in-grown creepers travelling across the rocky walls contribute to the raw looks of the ambiance.

The first floor of Jungle Gourmet brings out a completely unique concept. Based on ice cave theme, the entire ambiance has been given an icy look in blue. The frozen ceiling with hanging snow clads remind one of the extreme polar areas. The frosted walls with carefully carved fossils of animals likedinosaurs and elephants embedded on them give a real chill to the bones. Equal attention has been given to the floor giving it a glacial look. It is the specialist theme interior designers at Futomic that can come out with an idea likethis and can execute the same impeccably.

Coming to the second floor, the Khajuraho themed restaurant area exhibits Khajuraho style of elements everywhere. The painstakingly carved murals of human figures and animals like elephants and lions bring up the entire glimpse of the monument of Central India through the minds and hands of the top theme restaurant designers in the world. The border of elephant miniatures running across the wall along with pillars carved with motifs infuse a truly heritage look of Indian architecture. The intricately done jali work on chakras and rounded diamonds suspended from the ceiling are backlit to give a golden tone to the beige background.

This project of Futomic Design Services stands as an example as to how a single restaurant can be classified into themes, which are different, yet inter-related.
